Yamato and the team bust into Sai’s room and confront him while Kabuto ambles his way there as well. Sai issues his fake smile but Yamato’s not buying it. After a surprisingly tame amount of prodding, Sai gives up the plan(that prodding is really boring part). Sakura then steps one on of Sai’s psychological land-mines (the book). Yamato reveals the dirty secret of “Root”- members kill each other to get ahead (Zabuza has also passed that training). Sai then coughs up the truth about his brother, and finally Kabuto arrives (very late) to an empty room. Finally the team decides what to do about Sai’s betrayal outside. In doing so, Naruto gives a pep talk about how far he’s willing to go to bring Sasuke back. Sai reveals his orders to Naruto, Sakura, and Yamato, and also what happened to his brother. How will Naruto react when Sai warns him about Sasuke’s change?
